Ell has been consistent that playing Milazzo at catcher as a defensive specialist is fine. You just can't do it with two out of 9 positions in your lineup. And you can't double up by putting two hitters who struggle to get on base directly in front of your best hitter.
You can get away with one, when that kid is a strong defensive player at the most important defensive position, catcher.
