Not a good matchup at all. Not the team I wanted to face. But anything is possible.

They’re pretty safely in. A&M is the one true bubble team.
And yea it’s a horrible matchup unless we actually make outside shots or they’ll eat us alive with the matchup zone again

Miss state has lost 4 or 5 in a row. They are in right now, but not by much

They caught LSU right after their brutal stretch of the top teams in the conference. That won't be the case on Thursday as they will face a well rested and healthy team, possibly with a chastened and newly focused Jalen Cook. Even without Cook the Tigers will be in good shape if they hold Josh Hubbard under 20 points.

Here’s the ironic part….
If Aggy wins a game or two in the SEC tourney, they probably get into the dance.
That makes us the 2nd highest NET SEC team not in the big dance so we get an automatic NIT bid.
But if we beat St, it may knock them out of the tourney. They then drop to the NIT and knocks us out of the auto bid. We would then need an at large bid to the NIT.
I know…. Nobody cares about the NIT, but I find the irony here very interesting.
