No they will not be able to run against AL, if AL uses WKU's game plan/film. 9 in box will not bode well for LF stats. AL matches too well across the board. LSu had better adapt in between series and not wait till 1/2 time. BH will have to outdo AL's QB and keep the LSU def off the field. Please abandon the down, deep sideline passes with a 5% success rate, for a balanced one with crossing patterns, quick hitches, slants. Play action is key, occasional bootleg will loosen up the money run.
LSU secondary better pack their lunch. Missed reads and blown assignments will rule the day due to their confusion and lack of experience on a few of the DBs. LSU better count on some bigh plays and hope the spec teams don't let them down.

Without a doubt when Harris starts making them pay. LSU will go over 400 yds of offense in 2 weeks and beat Bama 30-22. Bank.

Million Dollar Question: Can LSU run on Bama?

I'll take the LSU vs Ala box for a Million, Jack! "What was the stupidest question a LSU fan asked Fournette?"

I wasn't giving henry enough credit either.

fournette has more moves, but make no mistake that henry is a good back. it's true that if you catch him in the backfield or on the line he will not move forward like fournette, but he is very good.

Oh - I know he is a good back, he just doesn't do it for me. I think we can force Coker to throw and Henry will be out of the equation. Rewatching the Tennessee game - I honestly think we are going to beat them.

As every game it will come down to the trench.
If Bama follows WKU plan we'll have a pass game open. Can BH get time to hit receivers?
If Bama doesn't load the box then LFU wins the game.

However, BH will have to get the ball out of his hands a lot quicker to keep Bama honest.

If our O line can give him just enough time... and block for LF7...

ST keep from stinking it up and D manage their end...

"O" and "D" line is the key. Our "O" line is special this year.

I think so. I think that the running game will carry the offense and LF will put the team on his back and lead the offense to enough points to win with around 35 carries.

However, the key to beating Bama is to not make mistakes and allowing big plays (Yeldon screen), dumb plays (kickoff out of bounds), and penelties (JC Copland's personal foul).

LSU under Miles gets up to play Bama and usually plays above their talent. I have no doubt that the team will play well and LF will carry the team to an epic performance. But will everyone else play smart enough and well enough?

We'll see.
