Deny what? Anyone that thinks the HEAD COACH doesn't have say over what happens on both defense and offense is a fricking moron. What I think is ridiculous is Les gets shite for "meddling" with the offense but no one says shite about the defense, which he ALSO meddles with from time to time.

Yes he does interfere with the playcalling and he just confirmed it.

Many of us have been saying he's been meddling too much for years. Some Pumpers have been denying this fact (no I'm not looking it up). Now they'll just say he's meddling some, what head coach doesn't.

i've never said he doesn't put his hand on the offense....every coach does. I just don't believe everytime the offense sucks its on him and everytime it plays well its on the OC like some people

I think the main point is, unless you have been wearing a fricking headset the past couple years, you don't know who was calling what and when.

The only time we know for sure that he called a specific play was against Tennessee where he called a run with Ridley. If thats the type of meddling he does (keeping Crowton from getting too cute) then Ill gladly take it. If he wants us to be a run first team perfect. We have great RBs. Anyone who thinks we should have been running less the past couple years and "opening up the offense" is a fool.

All Head Coaches are involved in the O and D. If they're not supposed to "meddle", then what exactly is your idea of what a Head Coach's role should be in the team's function? Just stand on the sidelines, scream at everyone and eat grass?
