I just don't understand what he's doing up there. Glad to see he representing LSU though. I'm confused otherwise.

You get confused easy. With the sheer number of SEC players getting drafted he is always involved in the discussion, and he is repping LSU well.

Anyone have a clip of Miles on the NFL network? I missed it.

He's there now. He is sitting at the broadcast desk

Thanks! I thought he'd be gone by now.

Looks like he is. They just switched to their in studio crew. Sorry

Wild guess...network figured since SEC owns college football and Miles has the most SEC wins/titles since 05, why not add him to the TV crew covering the draft.

He's back on now. Miles looks the part and is breaking it down well.
So much for the hands off CEO type coach devoid of any technical knowledge of the game. Our fan base really needs to get a damn grip. Miles knows what he's doing.

This back and forth with him and David Shaw is pretty cool to watch

Miles is holding his own. I'm not surprised one bit.

I've heard this from several LSU fans. Unfortunately many don't have NFL network and don't see him in this type setting. I wish I could get a clip.

I look forward to the day that Miles retires as the winningest coach in LSU history and then the rantards finally realize what they had.

Very gracious up there. What a good choice for the NFL Network to have him on set!

I watched him for 10 mins in which he broke down/detailed the guard, DT, corner, TE and WR positions and how it works differently in college than the NFL. Broke it down to the level of how the size factor, routes, moves etc.
He was kinda bantering with David Shaw of Stanford and commented on how Stanford plays with their 2/3 TE sets and how he looks at Stanford and tries to determine how we (LSU) would match up against them.
Ended his segment by thanking/praising the other panelists (Mayock and Charles?) and spoke directly to Shaw about what a great job the NFLN is doing in helping the future of college Athletes.
Like I said, he held his own and came off as articulate, witty, funny, very knowledgeable and humble all at the same time.
LSUs success with Miles at the helm is not an aberration or 'exception' like so many haters like to point out. He knows what he's doing and I still say we are very lucky to have him.

I don't!
I want the man to win and coach forever!!
He's not perfect, but damn he wins at an elite level while coaching in the best football conference college football has to offer!
And he does it while not coming across as a jerk.
