So you're the guy that thinks Obama is a better Prez cause he speaks in public better than W?
Get a life and stop worrying about what Les says. If you're upset at what he does, fine but please STFU

Come on man...you mean you're not just a tad bit annoyed by how he handles things? Just a tad? To come to the defense of him or to knock us for getting fed up with him doesn't hold much weight when you consider the past few years. We aren't just making this shite up just to bitch...he has proven his incompetence by what we see on the field.
I will give you that analyzing his media spots is a bit much, but you seem to constantly knight for the guy. I just didn't peg you as an apologist...that's all

Seriously, you have to have the comprehension of a 6 year old if you CAN'T understand what Miles is saying here. It means Jefferson is starting to understand the position better than he was a year ago. Jeeze, it's not that difficult people

I'm keeping my stance.
The QB position has been a major factor in the last two years. If you think otherwise, you're blind.
Crowton can suck my balls, fwiw.
We'll see how Jefferson does this year. IMO, Miles' job depends on it. No more excuses. If they don't improve next year, then I'm on your side of the fence.

agreed. the play calling has been shite but lee and jefferson haven't exactly been setting the world on fire. i give miles a free pass bc of the qb situation but im not so sure crowton should still be our o.c.

I'm with you on the QB situation. I don't think we should have won the MNC these past two years. I really don't. But the play of the overall team is obvious. We field a complacent, unfocused, lackluster team. 2007 was great, but I wonder what would have happened had we not had the senior leadership of Dorsey, Flynn, Doucet, etc. I can take losing...I just can't take the way our team comes to play...it's downright infuriating. And the worst part is that it hasn't changed.

I'm almost absolutely certain that none of this would even be discussed have Perilloux still had been on the team. SEC Champ. game at least. He knew the offense. He knew how to play the position. I turn, makes everything else click.
He wanting to fight an IHOP waiter set the team on at least a 2-year tailspin. That's where they are right now, IMO.

Well said, and I agree completely.

I don't know man. Perrilloux was a good player, but a shitty leader and "me first" type of guy. I tend to think the leadership shown by some of the 2007 guys overshadowed Miles' lack of ability to field a determined, focused team. Hell, we lost 2 games to inferior opponents even that year. I realize the QB position is huge, but we seem to have digressed in every facet...

Which makes me even more sick to my stomach. The SEC Champ. game and the game vs Florida in '07 (someone correct me if I'm wrong there) is where he showed flashes of what he was capable of.....
What a waste of success for a university and a waste as a player. Dude was going to be a beast.
