Les Miles pretty much threw out who he thinks will start next season on the o-line..He said Barks will play LT, Dwo will probably kick out to the RT spot, Alex Hurst will play gaurd, and he mentioned Williford will see the field..

Havent heard much about Williford, could he really beat out Blackwell??

hmmm, I'd kinda called this. I'm really intrigued about Josh D as a tackle.

I think Faulk pushes for playing time and maybe at some point takes over a tackle spot. Shaw seems a bit lost in the shuffle.

good thing is I think we got the hosses up front - and will for a few years to come. it's just a matter of finding the right combo.

I don't like the thought of Barksdale having to cover the qb's blindside

Either way at guard or tackle he needs to hit the buffets. 6'6 280 for an SEC OLineman is a joke.

I wouldn't trust anyone who proclaims to be attending the University of LSU

We'll see what happens this spring. I'd go to bet good money it's not going to be this lineup. Shaw and Faulk would both make better LT's than Barksdale IMO.

I've said it time and time again and I don't care if I get bashed for it. Faulk is too soft (at least when I knew him as a senior in high school). Ya'll think the power running game is in trouble now, put him in next year and see what happens. Just my two cents.

Can't we just open the competition and let the best man play? Why are we already naming our 2 most senior linemen as our starting tackles? There's alot of time between now and UNC to watch our young guys develop.

And on a side note, this has been my first and last semi-complaint the entire day. Hell of a job by Les and the staff today

LT-Barksdale
LG-Hurst
C-T-Bob
RG-Blackwell, Williford(first I've heard of him making a push)
RT-JD/Shaw

Not bad, I like the beef in the middle. I agree, not sure about Barksdale handling that spot but Black wasn't fleet of foot either over there. Either way I think this is a much better line for the running game. Yea, JD needs to gain some weight. Hope Shaw gets a good look at RT.
