How can you think LSU won't pay the next coach MORE...particularly if you expect an "upgrade".
Sumlin makes more, Bilema makes the same, Malzahn makes the same, ad does Freeze... Malzahn lucked into a championship run.... but has also had 2 bad years in 3. The others have not won squat.
So LSU will have to pay a lot more to attract a top coach...or else you ARE expecting mediocrity...and that will quickly decline to horrible.

You need to get out more. LSU will have to pay a new guy more.

And how much have Les Miles coached teams brought into LSU? If you take everything into consideration his teams have brought LSU at least $100 million in return.

He'll probably end up in the MAC, some lower-rung Big 10/12 school, or one of the directional schools in Florida. You will not see him at UGA, USCe, USCw, etc.
He'll never coach another down of football. He'll move to Florida, live large, and have a cushy part time ESPN gig.

LSU fans have a warped sense of bad and mediocre football.
I am willing to admit less isn't gonna get us over the top, but people act like he has us 6 feet under
I'll agree that he doesn't have us 6ft under, but will you agree that looking at the trends over the last 3 years, that we seem to be headed that way?

Upvote. Its just that simple. None of this other pure bull shite speculation from all these different posters and pundits who DNWTF they are talking about when it comes to Miles the job he's done and relationship he has built with the people he works for. That's right people and they don't include Alleva
