Bearhc it appeared to me that it was'nt Lee having a bad day but the recievers dropping his passes.

maybe you missed the spring game. He was not the best in that game.

or maybe you got to watch all the summer practices.
maybe he improved.

most important: too bad Miles does not get to see what you see.

Just because he did or did not need to use a TO later in the game has no bearing on the fact that having to use one it that situation is in fact a waste. This wasn't a situation where they were deciding what play to run or if they should go for the FG. If he had the plan to use JJ if this situation came up, you would expect that the players would have at least had this mentioned and would have been prepared for it. This is not the first game for them and, for the majority of them, they have seen this situation before. I am not arguing whether or not this call should have been made or Miles should have handled it differently but swapping a QB like he did should not result in either a penalty or having to call a TO like it did.
