It's a cup of clueless seasoned with a pinch of subterfuge.

Dude Miles should have been canned this year, but I will say this. Losing JD Moore was huge. He was critical to the success of Leonard Fournette.

I really don't even understand the mentality that causes one to talk about OVERALL winning percentage for a coach as if it is important in and of itself.

I mean, if you had an NFL Running Back with a 4.2 career average per carry but in the last two years, he was averaging 2.0, would anyone rationally argue, "hey, the dude is a 4.2 ypc career guy"?

I mean, Miles' overall percentage will absolutely reflect well upon him in hindsight, but, that doesn't really tell you anything about the current direction of the program.

Tennessee went 8-4, finished 2nd in the east, played 2 cfp teams (led ou most of the game and only lost by 7, led bama late and only lost by 5), they're other 2 losses were a 4 point loss to ark and a 1 point loss to Florida, a top 25 team. They played some tough teams and were in every game. Are they great? No, i said pretty good. What they did this year was not too shabby especially considering how horrible they've been recently.

C'mon Gray Tiger. You and every other extreme posi always have to blow any criticism out of proportion. That's not at all what I mean--beefense is becoming more objective and rational than you. I've always said that I like Les Miles--he just frustrates me to no end sometimes. Pump the breaks.

Ok, so I don't really buy into this posi/nega tiger set up. I think for the most part fans just want to see some honesty and passion from the staff in public. Not feel embarrassed about the structure as a whole. Sure, we all have heard Miles' pre-game speeches and the one real passionate speech I've heard from him in public was the "damn strong team" speech from back in the day. Maybe there have been others, I don't recall.

I like our coaches, I like the staff, I love the university and the teams. All of them. I'm proud to call LSU my team...win or lose. What I can't stomach is watching a team...a team that's full of NFL caliber talent and has the ability to kick any other team's arse 9 out of 10 times if played consecutively...just play like they've never been on a field before.

We all get frustrated and if we sit here and think that the coaching staff doesn't get frustrated...well, brother...you just haven't ever played organized sports before. Had a coach get in your arse because you blew an assignment. We criticize every last move coaches make, players make and really it just becomes tiresome to read.

None of us know shite when it comes to the inner workings of the team or the dynamics. We're not in the locker rooms, or the meetings. These kids love playing football and we love watching them. It's ok to throw a little criticism out there and be frustrated. Just know that we all have to be objective and rational.

Is JD Moore really the glue that held this entire team together?

I have to add Dillon Gordon to that list. He is 308 lbs of rompin stompin meanness. I got to believe Reggie Ragland would have had tougher sleddin against LSU with those two in the game...

I honestly think KJ Malone would have been a good substitute for Gordon at times.

So what has all of your negativity and name calling accomplished?

It is interesting that you who have no experience in big time college football seem to think you know it all, don't you think?

It is curious that you believe that you can effect the course of LSU football by posting a stream of foolishness, don't you think?

It is amazing that you somehow have talked yourself into believing that you have this vast knowledge about the workings of the LSU team when you rely totally on the opinions of others, don't you think?

Oh.

I'm sorry.
I asked the hard question didn't I?
I asked if you thought.
Silly me.

So what if he made bullshite excuses like draft grades coming out? No coach says his team played like shite. It's a slap in the face to the kids that sacrificed for that season.

It's not. Who are all these sure fire nfl players you fans swear we have?unless you're bama you don't have a huge amount of sure fire nfl talent.

As you can see the gap between lsu and bama is bigger than the gap between lsu and Ole miss.
Lsu and no other cfb programs besides bama has a ton of future nfl talent.
