Miles always seems to play Bama close in the regular season. I have my doubts, but we'll see I guess.
If they come out flat like last night Bama will crush them. But yes every game and opponenet is different. On the plus side LSU only had two penalties last night.

TAMU will probably drop 60 on LSU.

He has never been my kind of coach, but he managed to have great talent and to win, so I tried to appreciate his style of genius - but it has worn off.

Good luck finding anyone better, five ranked SEC teams went down yesterday. shite happens.
We're stuck with him.
Miles is basically Mark Richt of the SEC West who backed his way into the luckiest BCS championship since the BCS was invented.

Wow look at all the bandwagon pussies in this thread
That was an ugly, pathetic loss. And I honestly don't have a lot of confidence that this year's squad is all that good.
But some of these posters are, as always, terrible.

It's literally irrelevant now. I have no doubts they'll come out and play Bama close and maybe even win
but who cares, it is a meaningless game now. Because Les Miles only gets teams prepared to play twice a year.

Close loss?
Ole Miss should have won that game by 14 points.

No chance we are beating Bama

I used to like you, but you are proving to be an awful poster. You suck here and on the MSB.

The Rebs always play us close and wanted it more. Doesn't mean this team is complete dogshit now. There is talent ob this team to win more games....and I think that includes Bama. and yes I will enjoy the shite out of it regardless if it doesn't win us a championship
The way Oregon/FSU are playing....us beating Bama could easily ruin their NC hopes....bring it on.

Interceptions are much more common in football than blocked FGs and muffed punts.
Also, please go take a look at the yards per team as well as 3rd down efficiency for each.
I'll hang up and listen.

Really??? This game is HUGE for recruiting. But If LSU comes out like they did last night, Then YES it will be meaningless. Bama will make sure of that.

I sometimes make mistakes at work. I'd make more mistakes if 90k people were watching over my shoulder. I'd make fewer mistakes if I were paid millions of dollars to work with 90k people watching over my shoulder.
....but I'd still make mistakes.

By the way, Miles finds a way to beat Bama in three weeks...book it
It don't mean shite to beat Bama if you lose twice a year to inferior teams
Hot damn we beat Bama, fire up the Chick Fil A ticket printer

LSU will underachieve with all of those recruits anyway. It honestly means nothing.

That's probably because the coach acted like an idiot that caused that close loss

Mett wasnt making those mistakes in other games. He was off in the 1st half.
And total yards dont matter in football.

His team is definitely an extension of his personality. He's fun loving and goofy and talented. But he does nt have the focus and drive to be truly great. Maybe that's ok, I don't know. Maybe that Saban like focus and drive is no fun and wrought with the ability to crash. But the truth is that lsu will never be truly dominant with miles. It is what it is.
