Houston Nutt wins tons of games he's not supposed to. Where would you rank him?

Georgia 2009?
The one game I might consider, but UGA is not looking all that good. See Auby road win last yr. Looked great at the time, but it really wasn't in the end.

2006 - Beat a Kentucky(8-5) team 49-0
2009 - Beat Auburn (7-3) 31-10
Statement wins? I don't think so (laughing Seinfeld style)
I don't totally agree w/ his points, but at least I can see when it comes to SEC games Miles is not exactly winning the ones he shouldn't (meaning team is not, but that's semantics). Nor does his teams dominate equal SEC foes.
Another note: didn't Joe Ed Bradley say the consensus among SEC coaches is that LSU looks great, but they don't play great? Just asking. Or was that somebody else?

Well we have only been underdogs in 7 (I think) games since Miles has been here so there isn't a whole lot to choose from. Regardless, we were the underdogs to Georgia this year and came out with a victory.

Well he listed MSU (8-5) in 2007 so I just went by his standards.

Who does?

Bama over UGA last year.
UT over UGA this year.
UF over UGA last year.
shite, there is a pattern there.
OK, ARKY over Auby this year.
Off the top of my head....

Why do you give credit to UT for a win over UGA (5-4) but none to Miles for the beatdown over Auburn (7-3)?

Good wins for sure but UGA had some serious problems. Hell we could have beat them if not for 2 pick 6's. How many more can you think of with Meyer and Saban (honest question)?

Again, you are actually giving Arkansas credit for a win over Auburn but not LSU?

Haven't thought about except the sig wins that I mentioned.

I didn't realize Arky is as good as LSU. Hmm.

Saban won many games we weren't suppose to win when he was here, do I need to name them?
YES, but $aban also lost three games in the last 6 years that he was supposed to win...in fact they were against high school teams...UAB, Iowa (Cap. One), and ULM (with BAMA). This is something that Miles has NEVER done! Just thought I would throw that into the mix...
Alright, so tell me, who do you want to coach??? $aban??? He's not coming back...Urban??? NOt a chance in hell. So, tell me who is better than Miles other than Saban or Urban???

I dunno who's better, but I'd like to see Cincy's coach with LSU's talent. Or TCU's coach. Or Oregon's coach.
Many teams put up huge offensive numbers and look very crisp every week. What would LSU do with one of these coaches? I'd like to see.

do you think any one of those coaches would even think about coming in here if Miles was fired after a 11-2 or 10-3 season (assuming we win all or 2 out of 3 of remaining SEC games and bowl game)...two years after a National Championship??? THEY WOULD BE CRAZY TO COME HERE! Just sayin...I would rather see Crowton be canned at the end of this year...I think he is the ultimate problem!

Again, we are not talking about games we are suppose to win. I am simply making a statement, that is great coaches win games that they are not suppose to, and miles has yet to do so in a game that matters a whole significance, that we weren't suppose to. That is just a simple fact.

YES, but you also made the statement that $aban won many games that he wasn't supposed to when he was here...I just figured I would bring to attention the fact that he lost 3 games while he was here that he was DEFINITELY supposed to win...Miles has NEVER lost a game he was supposed to win...JUST SAYIN.

I'm not going to read 10 pages, but would just like to ask...if coaches are rated by games that they win that they aren't supposed to win, then does that make these coaches the greatest of all time?:
Appy State coach who beat Michigan
UAB coach who beat LSU
ULM coach who beat Alabama?

Interesting thread. IMO some coaches have a the ability to get average player to play above thier level and there for beating teams that should have an advantage over them. A coach that comes to mind is Steve Spurrier.

Another simple fact is that you are a clueless tool and probably a troll.

That's right, because his coaching has nothing to do with the fact that we are favored in most games!
(did you see what I did there?)

All coach teams that play in bullshite conference. Yes, sonnyboy the punk 10 is a joke just like the big least and mwc. The level of football isn't even close to the SEC, especially on defense.
