I hope he just opens it up for all three QB's until one of them steps up. The competition will be good and will pay off for next year.

Seriously, why are we talking about quarterbacks? If you score 38 points in the SEC you shouldn't lose.

Umm the game is tied if you take away Lee's two pick-6's

38 points should be enough but not when your quarterback gives the other team 21pts. I thought the defense looked pretty good.

The D gave up something like 8 plays of 20+ yards. That is not good defense.

He might as well let him get some real game time experience in this rebuilding year. We're only going to the Peach Bowl this year so why not let him play?

Or LSU could go 10-2 & end up in a much better Bowl, if not the SECCG.

Jefferson could be worse than Lee

That's sort of hard to fathom.

As a senior, he threw for over 2,800 yards with an 8-to-1 touchdown to interception ratio. Jefferson is also mobile and athletic. He's never going to be a runner like RP was, but he's quick and mobile enough to get out of the pocket if he needs to. Kind of like Matt Flynn, but probably a little faster and probably like Hatch, only with a much better arm. Better than Lee's, in my opinion.

I saw the game where LSU's Defense gave up 54 yards less than Goergia.

No, I believe that if Lee doesn't throw away those two pick six's that LSU scores one TD and one FG, at minimum and LSU wins by 10. GA's D was not THAT great, c'mon. We should have won that game.

Lee reminds me of that VT Glennon dude that we exposed last year in the first game. How did VT react after that? Did Glennon keep playing or not?

Not really...we are still scoring points with Lee.

How many reps has JJ had in practice with the first teamers? I suspect Lee and Hatch have been getting most, if not all, of the reps.

This is starting to remind me of the QB situation when it was Davey, Nall and Booty, and they all were equally inexperienced. It was painful.

but if JJ starts against Bama we are screwed royally,

hate to say it but unless he throws picks for TD's he will start

For some reason they still think he is our best chance to win- Poll those in TIger stadium saturday and you may get another answer--new thread idea

Miles considering Jefferson at QB

If this is the case, he would be throwing Lee under the bus, and using him as the scape goat. That would be unfortunate because we all knew, if you know anything about football, that a Freshman would struggle this year. Our vaunted defense has given up 100pts in two games. Thats the problem.

no shite....

Take a notice of the divide with posters, about half think our problems lie with D, others qb and another group think its a combo of qb and D play.
Im in the D problem group... IMO we are getiign pretty much what we expected from a frosh qb... I dont think yo ucan balme the returns o the qb,, just bc a guy throws a pick doesnt mean it goes back for 6 points..I dont know why 4 outa 9 have been, take a couple of those away and the qb debate is non exsistant. bottom line is we are scoring enough points to win games. our D is struggling, its been a long time since weve given up 50 plus (twice) in a month and nobody really knows the answer. To make matters worse uga couldt do that on any other opp this yr that we all feel is inferior teams to ours.

The defense could've played much better but they are not the reason we lost. Take away the 3 picks, the game is closer, we run the ball more, and we win...simple as that.

I agree with this and do not burn his redshirt. Stagger our guys at qb so they are not all of the same class.
