Almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. Florida played several games last year that they either should have lost, or were horribly sloppy in. They weren't as good as people thought.

Thing is, 9 of his 15 losses have come in his last two years.. Think about this: 10-2 in the last two years. That's 54-10? I wonder what the rant would talk about if that would have happend.

Oh I'm not giving him credit. I can't stand him. Just saying, I don't know what the rant would have to talk about if that "was" the case.

So are you sayin Saban is not a sound defensive coach?

and I could fire back that you Les homies always choose to ignore the obvious, that LSU continues to be a poorly coached team with a shitload of talent, and that you guys will continue to makeup excuses for Lester, ok. oh, well, I think I did just fire back.

Probably not, but it's amazing to me that fans (including myself at times) are ready to run Miles out of town. We've had more success in the five years under Miles than we have ever seen at LSU in any five year period. We as LSU fans have just gotten really, really spoiled, and in many ways it's a shame.

Boom!.... People forgot how hard it is to win. B/c Miles isn't yelling at kids on the sidelines, or giving great interviews they see him as a "bad coach".

Why continue to bring up a coach that isn't at LSU anymore. Its like people on this site get upset if another LSU fan celebrates an accomplishment by Miles without mentioning Saban. I know Saban is a great coach. That does nothing for me now as he is in Alabama. I choose to cheer for the current team and staff at LSU and not live in the past. LSU fans need to stop the self-loathing and saban knighting. It isn't productive or helpful to the LSU program of today.

I support Miles to, just taking offense to you callin me a Sabanista

I respect the man and what he has done for the LSU program which is-putting them on the map! but lo and behold, a lot of people on here swear that never happened.

yes.

Anyone watching this team the last two seasons can tell Miles has this program going in the right direction. Without a doubt, Miles is the best coach LSU has ever had in any sport. I say another raise is in order. Hell, a statue.

ok, guess I'll have to take that one. Look the man wanted to go back to college football because the NFL was a nightmare, he really wanted his LSU job back, but it wasn't open, you can't blame someone for taking a shitload of cash(like Bama threw at him). but you can best believe he wanted to be back in P&G.

I hope coach Miles turns it around this year, end of story.

Were we poorly coached in '02 and '04 we were embarrassed on several occasions? What were the reasons Saban only lost less than 3 games once while at LSU...against a weaker SEC?

And if stating obvious facts about rookie QBs the last two years is what you call "making excuses" then oh well...guess im guilty.
