We are not elite. Or even all that close to it.
We're currently a top 15 program. If you think thats about what we can do, you're likely not too unhappy with Miles. If you think we can do better than that, you're likely frustrated with Miles.

Why exclude the two Bama schools? They are in our division. We have to compete with them every year for the division title. You are measured against your competition, and they are our competition. They count.
The stupid practice of excluding Alabama (or now, I guess, Alabama AND Auburn) when comparing Miles to other programs' coaches needs to stop. If we can exclude them from the SEC West standings, THEN we can exclude them from arguments over the quality of our coach. Until then, they count, and we are not accomplishing our goal if we aren't matching up to them.

2012 to present is fair. 1/9 is the main thing that turned a large portion of the fan base against Miles, and I beleive, took all the fight out Miles' heart.
