Low attendance this Saturday. Good chance of rain on Saturday and watching Les Miles offense. People will be staying at home. Probably 75K-80K for this game.

Doesn't matter to me who starts. As long as we put up a W.

Thats a stupid thing to say. Getting a "W" that we would get if we started Kragthorpe at QB, while not giving a player that will be the most important player on the team for the next 3 seasons valuable playing time, is not all that matters.

This is certainly one of the dumber things Miles has ever done. This is the week to give the kid a shot. I re-watched the MSU game because I'm a glutton for punishment. Other than the deep pass to Dural which we all know Jennings can throw, he was pretty bad. The series before he got hurt he missed a wide open Diarse and Quinn on back to back plays. It's not like we're talking about a 3rd or 4th year guy in Jennings. This is dumb.

Who starts the game has no impact on the outcome. The outcome is determined by what happens during the game.

ie. They could start Porter at QB and it wouldn't make a difference.

Fine with me. But give Harris a lot more snaps than he's been getting. Should be at least 50/50, if not, more for Harris. If that means Jennings gets the 1st half and Harris gets the 2nd half, so be it. But Harris should have equal opportunity in this specific game.

He did pretty well on that one series.

Harris's role will be expanded.

No.

Les said it would.

Let Harris run some normal offense this game and if Harris outplays Jennings, then give Harris the start against Auburn. If not, let Jennings start and give Harris a role.

People forget that Harris screwed up about 3 playcalls the week before, and was a disaster against Wisconsin, when Jennings led a major comeback victory.

I am all for the best qb playing. If Harris proves that he is, then let him play.

No reason to freak out over a start. The coaches know their players better and aren't going to make knee jerk reactions like our idiot fans.

Don't care who starts. Just hope Harris plays meaningful snaps, including a series or two in the first half.

Indeed.

ETA: Want to know the most important out in a baseball game? Answer: The final one, not the first.

To me, if you go with Harris the rest of the year you are writing off this season. We are 4 games in...Harris needs playing time, but so does Jennings, and if this coaching staff feels that Jennings gives us the best chance to win then Jennings deserves to start.

I agree Harris needs to play, but Jennings should continue to start. Coaches believe in him and the team believes in him.
