He had some rough luck with Jared Lee, Jarrett Lee, and Jordan Jefferson. Two were busts considering their hype coming out of high school and one now plays in the MLB. Ryan Perriloux was a liability.
You make your own luck. Especially when it's a recurring theme. Don't forget the kid with no chest and Rivers being a bust and now we have a QB controversy on our hands for the next two years.
if he can't, recruit, develop or handle the most important position on the field then-this is all on CLM. The buck stops with him.

We used to hear how much better he was than Miles. But now he is parallel? Wow! Some of u just cant get it out of your head that the Head Coach at LSU is one of the all time greats. Stoops cant win with Texas down and A&M leaving.
I added Stoops as a guy that could not replace Miles 3 years ago. Some of u are in denial about the HC at LSU.

Yes. Fire him!
Hire Stoops! He's obviously better.

The amount of big games where Stoops team has come out flat, unmotivated and downright unprepared is much greater than Miles' team...
I'd much prefer Miles.

The facts are irrelevant here. This is the Rant.
We shite on coaches, players, and administration every chance we get. We use baseless arguments and create strawmen to make our point.
We hate LSU more here than any Bama fan ever will.

yep - Lsu gets plus CLM way more respect on Bama forums ! fact

I'd say they are both about equal. Tons of talent every year and most of the time no championships. Mediocre at best but keeping their jobs because of talent that just falls in their laps.

It is not just the "forums".
Bama Alumni in the SEC office respect the hell out of Miles and LSU too.
Why else would Bama alums rig LSU's schedules for years purposely making Miles' harder while making Saban's easier?
Respect.
Why else would a Bama alum in charge of officiating help see to it that when Bama plays LSU, LSU has to overcome 10-12 absolutely blatant ridiculous calls a game in order to win?
Respect
Yet, LSU fans shite on their coach when he cannot overcome those odds. It is laughable. Our fanbase is akin to the useful idiots political parties target in their opposition in order to drive a point across.

Yeah it's no secret that lsu has a lot of shitty fans. Look at some of the mouth breathers in this thread alone.

Illogical thinking that I wouldn't want LSU's coach to be considered great, much easier to paint with the broad brush.
Parallel being the possible peaking and career arc at current jobs, neither being detail oriented coaches relying on the talent they recruit-to their credit, but costs them on game day coaching.

Ha! Typical LSU fan believing all that nonsense. NO, the reason they give love to Miles is because they know they are gonna keep beating him. I get so sick of all of these excuses. Excuses excuses, yet same old.
Posted on 12/30/14 at 7:45 am to EZE Tiger Fan
The glaring problem with Miles is the inablility to develope the QB position and the straight up misses in recruiting the posiition. It is frustrating as hell to watch teams with competent young guys playing the position when we can't throw for over 100 yards.
Posted on 12/30/14 at 7:46 am to TigerFanNKaty
BTW to the OP; I'd take Miles over Bob Stoops any day.
Posted on 12/30/14 at 7:48 am to TigerCliff777
So if you use the logic that losing to Alabama 3 out of four games means your program is in decline, then that means every team in the SEC is in decline. Not buying it.

Two things are apparent. One, denial is a powerful defense mechanism. Two, pumpers have no idea what the word downward trajectory means.

I'd say being satisfied with and constantly making excuses for results like 4-4 .500 conference ball and playing in the Music City bowl makes you much more of a"shitty fan" than wanting better for LSU than that.

downward vs Bama I agree - Bama is in a class all alone - King of the hill ! I can deal with it ! can you
Les is not as good a Saban - I can deal with it can you

If Stoops were the coach people think he is, he would win that weak arse conference every year. I don't know how he keeps his job.

Miles is 26-2 after a loss. What the hell are you talking about?
