What's wrong with being critical of a team that should have won yesterday?

There is nothing wrong with being critical. However, it seems that a lot of the posters in this thread don't say anything until we lose and then they come out of the woodwork to compare Miles to Larry Coker or Phil Fulmer and say that the sky is falling.

Yes the defense is playing subpar and making mistakes but to act like LSU is turning into Tennessee is ridiculous.

Yeah, why don't we hire a Saban again. I mean, it's just that easy.

How many times have people said that Miles=Coker/Fulmer and that the #decline is starting?

We lost to a very good team, on the road, by 3 points while playing a ton of freshmen and sophomores. Yes the defense played bad but we all knew there was going to be some growing pains with a defense this young.

Check my post history. Been comparing these two for a while now. And have yet to see anyone who can put facts down to prove me wrong. It is not a bad thing the comparison, Fulmer was a great recruiter and had a very very good run. Funny hiw when Miles is compared to other coaches who did just as good as him, his supporters take offense. Those same folks probably ran "Phat Phil" down and laughed at TN. The mirror does not lie.

We will prob end up 10-2 again. And everyone will act again like it's the end of the world. While others will swear that next year we will implode cause of the talent we will be losing. And yet somehow, every year the crazy bastard just reloads. So no he is not like Fulmer. Or Coker or anyone else. Does he win championships ever year? No. But reloading and winning 10 or 11 wins each year isn't that bad, just saying...

Promise that tickets will be readily available next season - we are adding 10,000 seats
Call TAF and get on the list to spend $3,000 + for tickets and a parking pass - best investment you will ever make

So the end-all be-all is Alabama? Do you know of any solutions to fix our not-Bama-enough problem? Are you a Saints fan? If you are, do you size them up to the Patriots every time they lose a game?

It really is that easy. That's why ALL the top tier teams do it.
Every year these pusswads come out in droves predicting failures and making terrible comparisons. I guess it makes them feel better as they have obviously pinned all their emotions on a college team that will never live up to their lofty expectations.

Miles will get 1 or 2 more years. This year is looking like 9-3 or 8-4, which is what I predicted last August.

There's nothing wrong with being critical of the team for a game that we just lost, but to throw the whole season out of the window and make asinine statements about our entire program and coach, simply because we were 3 POINTS shy of beating a top 10 team ON THE ROAD is just that, asinine.

We lost to a top 10 team on the road by 3, that's the extent of what happen. Our program isn't on the decline, our recruiting isn't drying up, our coach isn't getting fired, and we are not losing 4-5 games this season.

Use your fricking brains people.

To be the best, surely you have to be number one and find a way to get there. 2007 was a long time ago, LSU needs another title. Too much talent on the field to be going to chick Fil a bowl.
