It really is that easy. That's why ALL the top tier teams do it.
Every year these pusswads come out in droves predicting failures and making terrible comparisons. I guess it makes them feel better as they have obviously pinned all their emotions on a college team that will never live up to their lofty expectations.

They all probably date supermodels, are billionaires, and all have PhD's in nuclear medical physics. Anything less is just totally unacceptable.

Do me a favor, post Fulmers career accomplishments side by side with Miles and then come back and post. My expectations are OBVIOUSLY higher than yours and others on this thread. I just like the level above good. You love good and always will.

To be the best, surely you have to be number one and find a way to get there. 2007 was a long time ago, LSU needs another title. Too much talent on the field to be going to chick Fil a bowl.

LSU is the only team that has too much talent?

I don't understand the hate. A majority of our defense went to the NFL last year. Anyone who follows LSU football understood this was going to be a huge drop off defensively for our team. The team just went on the road at #9 and barely got beat. Our offense is the best it has been in a long time. Our defense is going to struggle but they are young. You don't have to have the top recruiting class to win titles. It comes down to how you develop talent. This is a very young defense and if know football you had to expect a down year on that side of the ball.

What is your cut-off point between good and above good when it comes to career accomplishments?

I'll go ahead and give you 2 names at the very top:

Nick Saban
Urban Meyer

Give me some more names who are "above good".

Dude grow up. Stop putting all of your stock into a fricking college football team. It's entertainment, the second you cease to be entertained and become miserable because of it, is when you need to look in the mirror and check your priorities.

As another poster said, go outside today, it's a pretty day, go do something constructive.

2010 to 2011 says different. This drop off is precipitous. No one should have seen it this bad. A step back ok. But this is more than that. Georgia lost a lot also and I think had less experience on D than we did. So why did we lose again??

Game could've went either way and it was played on their home field in a nasty environment. Mett carved up their defense for most of the game as well. You are overreacting.

Everybody would love to be #1 , including myself. Not everyone can be rational enough to understand that only 1 team can actually be #1 every year.
There are too many variables that go into a college football year to think that your team will do everything right all the time.

I think the defense is not nearly as good as I hoped, but the offense is much better.

I think all this teams goals are still attainable

I don't see any decline in the staff or recruiting

I think a lot of fans have expectations that they would never hold themselves too.

What's wrong with being critical of a team that should have won yesterday?

You're not being critical you're being a moron.

"Saban brings in top 3 signing class every year so LSU should too" Ok so let's fire Miles for not doing that, let's also fire every other head coach not doing that too, that's only like 99% percent of them. See how dumb arse shite you sound?

Alabama lost a "ton of guys" 3 new starters on O line and they're number 1, care to explain?

Ok I now know that you're Bamasessed but I more even more now that you are a fricking idiot. Why would they drop if they keep winning?

If we had beaten UGA by any point total, we would have moved up plain and simple. Then what would you have said?
