what goes on with the honey badger at this point is a non issue at this point. he will do what he likes as he always has. self centeredness got him in this mess to begin with. move on the rest of the team needs support.

I've been going at it with him for two days. I'm tired and I'm way behind on my book reports and cartoons.

When you start off in life and it seems like its you against the world, that's what happens. When you finally hit bottom, knowing how to center on yourself can help. Accepting help from the right people can be the biggest and scariest step a young adult can ever take. ETA: The rest of the team seems to be doing fine, TM needs the support. The right kind of support.

I honestly think he is leaning towards staying. He is weighing all of his options but I think there is a genuine concern on his ability to "promote" his brand at a smaller institution. Except for a small few, coming out of a Div. II significantly hurts your ability to get paid right out.

Whatever he does, he's got to think long term.

This is all I want for TM. I don't know where he needs to be and what he needs to do. I just hope he makes the best decision possible. He absolutely let the team down, but I very well could have done the same exact thing in his situation under the same microscope.

Well he has said he likes to prove people wrong. Getting paid won't help him, investing in himself will.

Absolutely. Long term health and then worry about everything else. Only he can choose where he thinks he can do this. He obviously wants to be at LSU but none of us know where the best location is for him. Only time will tell if his decision will be a good one.

VC, anything new from your end?

Any accuracy in the opinion someone posted above that there might be "disagreement" at LSU? (for example, Miles wanting TM back but someone else above Miles wanting to cut ties completely)

I agree. I think LSU is helping by not letting him go to Prarie View and Jacksonville State. Those are the type of programs that role out the red carpet to the Michael Dyer types. Not a good situation for him.

Sound like lsu wants to see the kid act right for a year before entertaining the idea of letting him back on the team.

Don't tell me, show me.. In other words.

Excellent....I guess every day with no news is good news (obviously on the premise that good news = TM getting clean and playing for LSU in 2013)

Do you think there's any chance he sits out this season and rather than return to LSU in 2013 he goes ahead and declares for the draft after a year off?
