He is 6 for 28 since Travinski got hurt, That’s 0.214, and while that is weak, it is double what he was hitting early in the season. Plus he has laid down some nice bunts and some nice sac flies.

Along with the emergence of Bianco, this has been very helpful for LSU.

As long as he continues to make contact I'm happy. He's moving runners, producing sac flies, and is a lock down catcher behind the plate. His pick-off in Game 1 totally shut down Auburn's rally and saved a win for LSU. Not sure what getting thrown out a home was about last night. Did he run through a stop sign or did Nolan send him?

It looked to me like he sent him but I have no clue why

I think the offseasons injury affected him early on. He seemed a little out of shape to start the season and his defense was not as good. His defense has been approved lately as well.

I agree. As long as he's not a backwards k, I feel much better. He and Bianco have both been producing a little at the bottom of the order, just enough.

Nolan saw the bobble which turned out to be less than a bobble if that’s even possible.

Yeah i think it was just shitty luck. Nolan may have saw the bobble and sent him, usually a fielder doesnt the ball that quick

I thought the announcers on tv said he ran through the sign. I’m not sure.

Beloso's swing looks so weak. Manieri hasn't dropped him all season though so expect it the rest of the year. Maybe his bat will wake up by the time Summer league ball comes around.

Not sure about the sign, but he hesitated twice on what should have been an easy run. First, he got a bad read on a ball that was obviously going to drop, and he waffled between second and third. Then he hesitated after rounding third. Had he seen the ball from the start, and motored for home, he scores standing up.
