Once Mike refuses to enter his travel cage, they let him out into his habitat. I've seen him at about 3 games this year walking around in his habitat about an hour and a half before kickoff.

Tigers hold grudges for a long time, I think he is still pouting about the Lee/JJ fiasco..He is a negatiger
I agree though, whats the use of having a live mascot if he doesn't do what a mascot normally does?

Sounds like Mike needs some Adrian Peterson motivation, crack a switch on his arse and he will gladly get in the trailer.

Wonder if we could trade him for the I10 Gas Station tiger? I bet he would show more appreciation of his new home and show up on Saturday Night.
Mike thinks you should GFY.

You can't see the difference between them and a fricking tiger?

That excuse holds no water since HE HAS BEEN ON THE FIELD IN HIS TRAILER BEFORE

Why don't you go get him out of his cage then?

I agree, if Texas can get a frickin longhorn to stand still for six hours with two guys holding his rope, then Lsu should be able to get a tiger into a cage. He needs to be trained to get in that darned trailer and not given a choice.

A friend's daughter is a student worker at the vet school & she's says it's the vet in charge of his care who is preventing any "strong" measures to get him into his trailer. And she directed it in a very derogatory way towards the vet. Not meaning a cattle prod or anything like that, but all they are allowed to do is open the door to his trailer & try & talk him into it.

One of the main things I miss about V is his propensity to roar on command at pregame.
Usually always when the Mike (the mascot) approached the cage. That got a rise out of the REAL Mike.

Isnt that what the trainers are for? How did they get him in before? Did some guru trainer retire and take all the secrets with him? This isn't like they are trying to get him to do something he has never done before.
