Got my season tickets when Coach and Ricky were here.
RIP Coach

We all remember the Ditka era.
He had a house in English Turn and occasionally ate at a BBQ place in Algiers where one of my cousins worked. He said he was just a regular dude (and tipped well).
My first stint as a season ticket holder was in that era. A friend and I would sometimes bring our boys - they could stretch out across multiple seats in the terrace at the Dome and take a nap.
RIP Coach.

He had clearly lost a step after his heart issues with the Bears. The fiery coach of the 80s was a legend, we just didn't get that guy.
His contributions to the game as a coach and Tight End are legendary, and he generally always represented himself and his teams well (even though he didn't succeed here). May he find the cigar room in the sky well.

One of my greatest memories of Ditka was when he was the coach of the Bears.
He gave one of the callers to his coaches show his address and told him to come on down because “I’m 50 years old but I’ll kick your arse”

Who would win in a fight; Ditka or a hurricane?
What about 100 mini Ditkas vs the hurricane?
