I went to school with Glen Davis. He drove one hell of an explorer his junior year, but the one he had his senior year was better, IMO.

Don Redden charged $1000 of clothes with a credit card that wasn't his. My buddy worked at the clothing store and waited on Redden.

I worked at Dillard’s while I was at LSU, and Chris Jackson & Vernel Singleton walked in one day and both walked out with a big bag full of Polo apparel under each arm. I didn’t see whose card it was charged to, but it sure as hell wasn’t either of theirs.

Don was a good friend of mine, BTW. RIP.

As long as Emmert is in charge of the NCAA, Saban is double covered.
That’s why he can bring in dirty coaches and they’re immediately cleared
of charges ((guess Freeze was even too hot to take)

You can bet that Saban will not be at Bama longer than Emmert stays at the
NCAA

Could it be that Fields played high school ball in Kennesaw, GA, basically a suburb of Atlanta, and UGA is in Athens, a little more than an hour away???

also, fields (who was a long time penn st commit at the time) asked auburn coaches at their camp, how he was to go about decommitting from penn st so he could commit to auburn. (so he didn't look bad or hurt feelings). also, ask an auburn fan in the know as to why Jay Jacobs backed off the Kirby smart idea.

Could be. Funny how UGA fans and boosters joke about it. Sometimes tongue in cheek, but many say one of the Kirby hiring stipulations was that he bring along his "bagman". I've heard it directly from their mouths. "Hell, I don't care if he cheats. I just wanna win. And that's what we're doing." I have a friend in grad school in Athens who says he's already seeing the improvement of player transportation.
I've lived in Atlanta for over 25 years and follow UGA football closely (but not a big UGA fan, so no bias here), and I haven't heard a peep about any shading recruiting by Kirby Smart.
