Jordan Mickey had 32 pts. and 13 rebounds and Andre Stringer had 10 points and 13 assists to lead the Maine Red Claws to victory.

For those who say CJJ doesn't develop players, Stringer's game got much better with him as coach. If you are in roundball need with the Tigers not playing for a while, you can wach this game at the Red Claws web page LINK

Lol Maine red claws. That's hardly developing players. Was it a pick up game?

But Mickey though....should never have gone pro. Has so much more of his game to develop.

It's NBA D-League, brochacho

But no, Mickey should be here, swatting shots, getting alley oops, and getting into 1st round draft status.

Still think Mickey was too quick to leave. Could've made a big name for himself with a good team and Ben

You can also look how he made the tuba player a somewhat respectable player.

He's a 6'7 PF and can't handle the ball worth a lick. There's a lot of those guys out there.

Or Quarterman's jump from frosh to soph year.

Or Epps' and Robinson's development year 1 to year 2. (though they each still have much room to grow)

I always was of the mind that if a player improves dramatically many more times than not it's because he decided to put in the time and put in the work to do so.

Coaches can encourage and give them some drills, etc., but I've always been of the mind it mostly comes from within.

There is nothing wrong with thinking that way as long as you don't get on a coach for lack of player development. Which, at least in this thread, you have not.
