Some people here have contrasted and compared LSU quarterback coaching and OSU quarterback coaching. A Michigan DB stated that in the Michigan--OSU game Dwayne Haskins "didn't come in like a freshman...He felt good in system which is a credit to their (OSU's) coaching staff." See 1:23 to 1:35 of video. LINK

Boy, that’d be great news...if we ran Ohio State’s offense.

mehh Urban had a crush on Haskins all along. He also had a crush on Barrett. there were times through out his career that JT looked like hot shite and never got benched.

Maybe because he only lost 6 games in his entire career.

Barrett was a good college Qb and had a great record. I trust Corch when it comes to QBs. As much as I can’t stand him, dude is an outstanding coach.

The only thing about running that offense is how much it subjects the QB to being hit. Its great until you lose your starter unless you have the quality of backups they had.

If you grew up in the 60s when LSU lost their strating QB almost every year right before the Ole Miss and BAMA back to back weeks you still have PTSD. Pat SCreen and Nelson Stokely always seemed to get injured at he worst time. Enter little Freddi Haynes from Minden. to save teh day . Right! Captain EAsy had only one in him and thankfully pulled out teh 1964 Ole Miss game. The rest were disasters.
