Yeah I am pretty sure you missed what happened there. When a catcher does not call for a curve ball and the pitcher indeed throws a curve ball that is what you will get. This is why they call signals from behind the plate. It was funny as hell to see all the reactions to that though.

He has been the most impressive non pitcher freshman in 2015. He has position skills and I think he will hit in the future.

I think most catchers would have looked the exact same way if they call for a fastball and the pitcher throws the "deuce". I laughed a little though. I too. The ump was looking at him(Pep) like "wtf just happen??"

The way he reacted, told me the Pitcher threw a different pitch than what was called.

This kid and Deichmann both put on a show in BP. Look for both to display a lot of power for the Tigers the next couple of years.
