keiland williams showed more at LSU, was bigger, ran about the same, and went undrafted. it's not like this hasn't happened to an LSU back recently

Keiland didn't run at the combine, only pro day.

At the pro day he ran a 4.53, had 33" vertical, and benched 16 reps.

Ford's results at the combine were much better than Keiland's pro day and he showed he was one of the best athletes at the RB position in this class.

and keiland showed a lot more at actually playing RB at LSU

plus, again, this isn't a good RB class

Not really.

Keiland played in 47 games/3 starts, 299 rushes, 1,699 yds for right around 5.7 ypc.

Ford played in 37 games/5 starts, 243 rushes, 1392 yards for about 5.7 ypc.

Keiland never had more than 83 attempts in a season, Ford had 127 attempts in 2011.

did ford, at any point in his career over 4-6 games, tote the rock as a #1 back? keiland did, and he excelled

and i'm not hating on ford. you can go look at my post history about ford. i wish he had gotten more run here at LSU

with his style, he should have gone to a team that used zone blocking and outside-cut runs more. i think he could have been special at a team who did that and let him develop as a runner

You're really overvalueing Keiland in that time period.

In the last 5 games of 2006 this is Keiland's rushing stats.

6/51, 17/53, 9/79, 13/68, 14/107

In the first 5 games of 2011 Ford's stats looked like this:

14/96, 13/72, 13/50, 12/82, 9/22

he also had another 5 game stretch in the same year of

12/82, 11/72, 11/62, 5/50, 11/96

What? I didn't say that was his only good play, I said he had one really awesome run vs. Va tech. Did he not just because of 2006?
