I just hope none on the LSU backs go to the Saints.

I don't see him making the squad unless there's a trade involved or he makes the team for kickoffs etc.
Either way, I'm happy for him that he's likely to make an NFL roster.

FWIW, a recent top 3 round defensive player's father told me that although the team that ended up selecting his son had shown a lot of interest at the Senior Bowl, they hadn't called in several weeks prior to the draft and that at least two other teams that passed in the round he was selected in had been frequently calling his agent in the couple weeks leading up to the draft.

I think just being on a championship caliber team will do wonders for Ford.
He'll get to learn how to "be a pro" from Jackson if he went to the Falcons.
He'll be in one of the best environments in the NFL. A winning culture so to speak.
