Me and 9 buds are flying in for the game and trying to decide our pregame situation.

Humperdinks near the stadium is a last resort.

Are there any tailgates with a cover charge we could drop in on? We're looking for the easy route of pay for our booze on site and not be responsible for any belongings other than our persons

Two of my buds are alumni so I suppose the alumni tailgate could be an option

The DFW Alumni group does a great job whenever the Tigers are in DFW. Not a last resort imo.

It’s gonna be very hot so I’d plan to find the closest bar to AT&T

I went to that Alumni Tailgate for the last game at ATT. It was OUTSIDE in the parking lot of a local bar ( i forget which one). It felt like it was 1000 degrees. They couldn't even get the kegs cold enough to pour. I forgot how much I paid for my family of four but I just wrote it off and walked out on it. Terrible.

The parking lot is too hot and Humperdinck’s will be crowded. Don’t expect good tailgating at the stadium.

Yea I’m sure we’ll end up going inside AT&T early biting that bullet and paying for expensive drinks. Being in the AC and paying for expensive drinks is better than sweating out everything we drink being miserable.

I’m definitely sneaking flasks in

I plan to check out Texas-Live next to the stadium. Several bars and restaurants that just opened in July. Better Than Ezra has a show there Saturday night.
