The targeting penalty was correct.

It took a good db off the field, and reduced interest in unsportsmanlike behavior.

No turnovers.

Your qb can't pass worth beans.

Good luck vs va tech. They looked good v florida state.

Either you guys are trolling or you havent seen decent QB play in a while. We havent had the greatest QB play over the years(Kaaya being the only good one) but they all had at least one great trait throwing the ball; Kaaya for example was accurate and Morris threw a great deep ball. Rosier has scrambling ability and that's about it.

Even local and national reporters are calling for a switch. Watch our games against a depleted UNC team or against Pitt last year and you'll see that's just how he is no matter the defense. In the ACC alone I'd say he's perhaps the 7th best QB(Clemson has 2, Duke, FSU, NCSt and VT are all better) Georgia Tech's QB might be better.

Why do you ask?

Burrow busted your safety sneaking up to blitz (something your coach called) and called an audible. had nothing to do with it being a backup

It actually does. The safety that blitzed, Johnson, is our best safety and usually serves in the role of the other safety, Knowles, that took a horrible angle on that run. We're not playing FAU or FIU. No need to trot a special teams player at best out against LSU.

When this happens to yall 2-3 more seasons, you will really be frustrated like LSU fans have been.

Im not sure anything is more frustrating than to see a great team at every other position lose 2-3 games per season because of poor QB play in multiple seasons in succession.

I guess we could be a bit spoiled. We always have skill positions and at least an average signal-caller
Luckily Richt has a good track record of recruiting and developing QBs.

Why cant you guys recruit a good QB? I wonder is it the same reason we have trouble recruiting 5* OL and DL.

Rosier is a weird QB. He goes from completely helpless to throwing a perfect dime down the field. Erratic doesn't even cover it. He goes from Anthony Jennings to Tom Brady and back again. And he does it in the span of 3 plays. Also, your receiving corps is legit.

Miami is a lot like a lot of LSU teams: a great defense paired with an erratic offense helmed by a QB who can't put it all together. Willis was arguably the best player on the field, but you won't face a defense like LSU's for the rest of the year, so I think your offense will improve.

The guy you should hate is your punter. He sucks out loud, and gifted LSU great field position all first half. Y'all lost due to his shanks giving the LSU offense short fields in the second quarter to build a huge lead.

I don't have an answer for you guys.

I think the worm could be turning for us. Thanks to Coach O willing to bite the bullet and lose 2 QB's to get JB and JB being willing to come.

It will take 3 seasons to see if we really made progress.

We've always been a "run team." That's why we get the 5* RBs - because they know we'll give them the ball and they'll rack up rushing yardage. Which in turn, leads to more 5* RB recruits wanting to play for us, which leads to more running. It's like a Catch-22 - running the ball effectively leads to better RB recruits which leads to running the ball...and the cycle starts all over.

It's very hard to attract and keep talented QBs when all you have to sell them on is hand-off left, then hand-off right, then toss it behind you...rinse, repeat! What 5 start QB wants to come here just to hand the ball off to _fill_in_the_blank_RB_??? They all want to play where they'll pass the ball.

Now that we have a good QB and great WRs, hopefully it'll lead to more passing which will attract more good QBs.

Its like the chicken and the egg. Which comes first, a good QB that prompts a passing philosophy; or a passing philosophy that'll attract good young QBs?
