Just say Mett continues to have the same type of games that he's been having (around 200 yds/game and 1-2 TD's) 2800 yards(14 games) and around 20 TD's... Are these #'s good enough for the pro scouts to project him high enough in the draft to leave or would they still want to see a little more game action on him?

Thought's?

The kid is still very raw. Holds on to the ball too long, stares down his receivers. No way he'd be ready for the NFL with a one and done season.

With the high profile QB's coming out this year, I think Mett will come back next year. Barkley , Wilson , Jones etc

Mett does not look like an NFL QB prospect at this point, but then again, look at Tannehill. Go figure.

ridiculous if he left...still alot to improve about his game, no matter how this year ends up.

Of couse they are.
Is he cerebral?
Can he make all the throws?
Is he a leader?
If so that is enough production to warrant a very high grade in a run heavy offense.

He should be back next season without a doubt. He has a lot of areas to improve on before being ready. The biggest being his intermediate passes, especially around the goal line. He looks like Joe Montana to us because of what we went through the last 4 years. Nothing wrong with having a top qb 2 years in a row.

Still want to enjoy this season, but do you think Mett coming back would affect Montgomery and Mingo's decision about next year?

It's crazy. I still feel a pit in my stomach when we drop back to throw...4 years of JJ lag.

Needs to mature in SEC competition. If he puts up big numbers next year, he could possibly be a number one. I do not think he could be a number this year; of course if he lead us to the BCS Championship, then anything is possible.

I would think no matter what Sam will be gone.

Probably. I know it's wishful thinking, but I can't help but think that a talented QB with a year under his belt would offer a little incentive to stay if you were even considering it as opposed to having Rivers or whoever taking over, and more than likely guaranteeing a rocky season.

I just don't feel like they will have enough game film against top notch competition.. The SEC is a bit down this year and I feel like another year of starting will put him in a position to be the 1st QB taken next year. Maybe go all crazy talk here and say LSU push a little Heisman campaign.

How crazy would that be??

Junior QB with his size and ability on such an elite team should only leave if they are a 1st rounder IMO. Is he a 1st rounder? Again this is IMO. Still lots of season to be played.
