WOW!! What a great idea. Players working on an area of their game that needs improving.

I wonder why the coaches who are getting paid $$$$$$$$ haven't thought of this.

Players at major programs never do this.

There a lot of QB's out there that make those throws all the time. NFL and college. No one is oversimplfying anything. As I just said the timin is off between the two. That's where practice together comes into play.

If you watched the Saints game today, you saw Carson Palmer make some absolutely pitiful throws on bombs. I think you're underselling Mett a bit. I'd agree it wasn't his strong suit last year, but we've been connecting on the deep ball well this season.

Carson Pamer is garbage now. His best days were in Cincy.

Exactly what I said is exactly what is taught and preached at passing academy's across the country from the Manning passing academy to George Whitfield. Where are you getting this shite?

Go watch Peyton, Brees, etc. practice and warm up. They don't practice 45 yards shots down field. They practice intermediate routes religiously. Manning had the timing down pat with Marvin Harrison, but before every game he would go out early with him and practice those same timing routes over and over and over.

The sad part is, I agreed with you on other throws this season. I believe it's a bit nitpicky, but yeah...they've been slightly underthrown. But lemme ask you something...if that first pass was underthrown, why did OBJ jump for it? And yeah, it went right thru his two hands, both of which were on the ball.
So no, I'm not retarded.

I just watched the Jets QB throw a perfect strike downfield hitting his receiver in stride for the score. Are you gon tell me him and that receiver have been workin on that throw?? Especially when he's been thrown right in at QB after Sanchez went down.

What games are you watching? The deep ball has been on point

First play on offense was a beautiful thrown where only Beckham could get it, but Beckham dropped it

csb warning ...

I was helping coach the soccer team Bo Pelini's son was on the summer before Pelini's first year coaching here. Only brought up football with him once. After practice one day some of the kids were still playing and I asked Bo if any of the LSU players stayed after practice like that. He responded, "The good ones do."

Look, dude I didn't mean to call you that which is why I removed it. But it's rough on here arguing with some of you. You already know that. I simply stated that this the only throw Mett hasn't quite mastered yet because he can make all the other throws. And make those throws look easy because of his arm strength. But people go nuts on here as usual and most of the time their mad for shite that's not even football related.

I didn't go nuts about it. I agreed with you on 90% of what you were saying. You may have a different throw in mind, but maybe this'll help. It's the first phuckin offensive play we ran of the game, on 1st and 15 after the false start. OBJ was past the corner, but the safety was closing. He JUMPED to catch an underthrown ball I guess...

OMG!! I saw a QB hit a receiver in stride, they must have stayed after and worked 4 hours on that one throw!!!!!

Look, I'm telling you exactly what is coached at practices and at QB camps. Take it however you want. I can promise you this...Mett and OB3 are not staying after practice to work on go routes. They are working on slants, flags and outs like Cam is telling them to.
