Space fricking Clownboy!

You should be hoping that o can be anywhere near as successful as Miles was as the head coach of LSU.

My God, you are a pathetic and miserable motherfricker. Miles commented on his goals in life as a child:
quote:
“I don’t know that anybody ever doesn’t dream at one point in time, ‘I’m going to be in a movie,’ ” Miles said, explaining his acting fascination. “I don’t know how you don’t think that way. As a child, I wanted to be the president of the United States, wanted to be a head football coach and wanted to be an actor in a movie. We only get one go-around at this thing called life. There’s no do-overs.”

So he wanted to be President, an actor, and/or a head football coach.

He achieved one of the 3 on that list. How'd he do?

overall record 141–55
at LSU 114–34

Championships
1 National
2 SEC
3 SEC Western Division

Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year
Home Depot Coach of the Year
Associated Press College Football Coach of the Year
AFCA FBS Coach of the Year
Walter Camp Coach of the Year

Retired at 60 with millions in the bank, millions still coming in, completely healthy and active still, and now tinkering around pursuing things he'd still like to do outside of football.

Tell us, Space Cowboy, what were your dreams as a child- what were you going to grow up to be?

Have you become one of those, and have you achieved anywhere near the success in that field that Miles has in his? I can freely admit, I haven't come close to his success in life.

I don't care if it was time for him to go or not, there's not a man among us who can say he wouldn't be proud and satisfied with that level of accomplishment.

Well, might as well shut the board down Chicken. That there is the best post this place has ever seen, or ever will see.

Damn strong post, Scoob.

I am sooooooo glad he is not still the coach, because he had been spiraling since 2012. The offense was fricking embarrassing for years. But how the hell did we end up with Ed Orgeron? Oh, and I hope he makes it as an actor.

If actual ADs were dumb enough to believe his national championship hype, he would have been hired within a week of being fired by LSU, but unfortunately for him, actual ADs aren't as nearly dumb as you are.

Like I told that lunatik loon, if actual ADs were dumb enough to believe that pure utter nonsense you know nothing Miles brown nosers spew like Einsteins, Miles would have been hired within a week of being fired from LSU for gross incompetence. Turns out, the only people dumb enough to believe your BS are you dumb geniuses.

The last time SE did the offensive coordinator routine, he set new offensive records at LSU. Indeed, it was the first time in many years the team was actually fun again to watch and it was very refreshing. If anyone is mediocre you dumb Einstein, go look in the mirror.

les miles no offer for 18 months = shite coach

ed orgeron not even getting coordinator offers, let alone HC offers for 29 years= great coach

youre a clown and proven liar. vandy would laugh at ed orgeron's resume. ed orgeron has never in his life proven he can run a successful side of the ball, let alone a successful program.
ive had as much sustained success running a program as ed orgeron.

Ensminger was fricking terrible against the better teams. Could not score points, unless it was against one of the worst defenses in the conference. Also tied an all time record with the least points ever scored at home against Alabama, when the defense played their asses off. Couldn't score against Florida either. The bullshite rushing yardage record against Missouri was just set the previous year by Cam Cameron. Ensminger was an atrocious hire on paper, hence the reason nobody else would consider hiring him, other than the other idiot that nobody wanted. Time Will Tell, but it was a weak hire in the eyes of other programs.

1. He accomplished accolades as a coach. He was awarded the absolute highest honors one can receive at the collegiate level. Therefore, like I said, it would be tough to beat that as an actor.

2. It makes no sense for you to use the "no one would hire him" arguement when you are so insistent with your affinity of Orgeron. Alleva was the ONLY idiot willing to hire this guy. Not ONE other school was even trying to pull him away as a coordinator.

This is why you are a shmuck.

Two coaches in LSUs history finished AP #1. Les was one of them.

I get that you like Ed. No need to diminish the last coach that actually had a great tenure.

Agreed. I'm not a big fan of either and Alleva kept ole Les around one too many years, but the man won games and brought us a championship. I'm not just gonna hate on the guy.

I'll eat crow if Orgeron turns it around, but Les won the sec west in his first year against a crazy obstacle. He then won the Sugar Bowl when everyone was nut hugging ND, then in year 3 won a national title.

He earned it. Orgeron can do the same, prove it on the field.
