Plot twist, Finnegan is actually a daughter of Mary Lou as well

Mother seemed ambivalent about McKenna's announced decision to forego her 5th year.
Injuries can be psychologically-debilitating.
That may be what is at stake here. The younger Kelly is coming in and maybe McKenna might want to GA or perhaps re-assess her decision to forego that special opportunity. But again, injuries really affect the athelete's mindset and its not all pleasant. Good luck to McKenna and her dear mother is a huge asset to the LSU Program. Mary Lou Retton Kelly made several efforts to put LSU Gymnastics front and center on NBC. Thank you Mary Lou R Kelly.
