The team can give up several wide open looks and still have a great overall defensive game. They can both be true.

Wade has assembled a great team this year. Length out of the gym. Just missing a shooter. We will be fine when Days is hitting. But I’d like to have a guard that could consistently hit. A Keith Hornsby type.

I don’t know exactly what “teams like Lipscomb” means, but we’ve been trailing at half in 5 of our 11 games coming into this one. And only had 50 at halftime once.
I don’t think it’s that much of a hot take that we tend to start slow, then wear teams down at the end with our tenacious D and pull away. Wade talks about it quite often, and admits it won’t play against SEC teams.
