Starters
PG - Waters
SG - Smart
SF - Taylor
PF- Reid
C - Bigby-Williams

2nd Unit

PG - Smart/ Waters/ Danya
SG- Mays / Edwards
SF - Edwards / Rachal
PF- Days / Williams
C -Williams/ Reid

I expect this to be something of the rotation. As each line up is very flexible and balance to some sort. Smart is the X factor at his size and ball handling defending which will be key. He could potentially be in all lineups as 1, 2 or 3. As I’ve seen in previous post all about defending.

How long u been watching LSU basketball? Josh Gray - I used to wanna choke that dude so bad . He'd get to the hole with a nice move, or just blow by someone and miss the lay up all the time

I have no doubt Smart can become a great player. Yes he is very highly touted. I wanna watch him play at least one game before I declare him one of the greatest ever. LSU is one of the tops when talking about fielding an All-Time Team. The likes of Maravich, Shaq, Chris Jackson, Pettit, Livingston, Simmons, etc.

As highly touted as Patrick Peterson was, it took him a few games to work his into the lineup. He turned out pretty good to me.

They’ll probably rotate all year depending on the matchup unless one becomes clearly better than the other.

So it's middling contributor Mays or top prospect Smart?

Smart all day....

Until we know how Smart is defensively, I don’t think you can say that with full certainty

So oh wise one, please tell us all how 2 years of SEC starting experience, 11.3 PPG, 3.2 APG (from the off ball position), 4.1 RPG (as a guard), and 1.6 steals per game equal a “middling contributor?” I’ll hang up and listen.

Most lsu b-ball fans are clueless. They watch 3 games a year and think they know everything

I'm not trashing Mays, though he did have a propensity to boot layups.

Smart is taller, longer, and much more athletic than Mays.

It's not that much of a reach to see him getting more playing time than Mays.

They are the same height, you don’t know either guys wingspan and Smart is not some freak athlete. He’s quicker than Mays, but not much of a difference in everything else athletically.

First game might be mays. But jmo smart will be starting by sec play. Mays has a better chance of wade running 3 guards against most teams and taylor starting when we need more size.
