Mays hustles and plays much tougher than the two bigs.

If epps is going to continue to miss(or air ball) wide open, uncontested shots then he needs to come off the floor. He does not rebound and is a complete liability on defense.

Because Wade is drawing up plays that have Epps/Reath in the corner of top of the key. Which results in Mays, Wayde, and Waters crashing the boards. What the hell is Wade thinking.

Mays had a good game. He uses his savvy to overcome not having top notch atheticsm. Reath and Epps just don't have great instincts and a tough mentality. It's just not who they are. Unfortunately, they don't have the world class athleticism to overcome it

They’re soft. It’s why Wade went and got Combs. He knew they were terrible defenders and rebounders so he hoped Combs could come in and do the dirty work while Epps and Reath did their thing on offense. Sadly Combs ankle ended up being worse than anyone thought.

If Epps' shot isn't going down he basically gives you nothing. He wouldn't even get off of the bench if he was on next years team. It just sucks Will Wade has no other choices this year

Which is excellent strategy to get their bigs away from the goal and try tipping the scale of rebounding in LSU' favor. Wade is a very good strategist. I cannot wait to see what next years team will look like after a few weeks under Wades' tutelage. I just hope he can get an athletic wing to go with this class he is bringing in. I think the juco guy, Marlon Taylor, would be the perfect fit. He's exactly what they need to compliment the big bodies Wade is bringing in.

I really like both Epps and Reath, but they are what they are...they are tall, but they are just not tough or strong. When teams consistently get rebounds of their own missed free throws that tells you all you need to know. I've said more than a few times I'd just as soon put guards on the low blocks on free throws those to get out-positioned so consistently and give up costly rebounds.

Reath had 4 rebounds the previous game. They just aren't a good rebounding team. Not enough chest.
