Whats the most he's pitched in a single game this season? How long would he would be effective if we brought him in, in the 6th or 7th?

I think they try to make him go no longer than 2 innings max

he had a few 3-4 inning outings when they first started to throw him. At least 3 innings, maybe not 4

He could go 5 or 6, but you would only get 1 game. A closer is meant to go 2 or 3 days in a row.

He's best as a closer/1 inning guy. He's gotten himself into trouble throwing 2 innings this year.

Do you think that will be his role next year or will they try and develope him in some different role.

Last time he went 3 he gave up several homeruns in a row in the 9th.

he got rocked earlier in the year against BAMA he when went more than two innings. id like to see how far he can go since he will prolly be a starter next year.

he averages 1.1 innings per outing... has pitched 3 innings in a game twice this year with 0 runs in both... thrown 2.1 inning twice giving up 1 run in one game and 4 runs in the other (the bama game in which we were up big) and 2 innings in 3 games with 0 runs in two of them and 1 run in the other.... he's fully capable of going longer as he did so in HS... but haven't needed him to... only bad multi-inning outting was the bama game.
