Nicholls State where all his friends are playing.
Watch.

After falling this far from grace, he will likely turn to his parents.

They should advise him to stay somewhere close, but he may have to turn his back on alot of his old friends. If he can get focused, in 8 months he will be drafted in the NFL and be a millionaiire, his friends will still be playing small ball on their way to a job selling cars.

I think Grambling would be a nice landing spot for him if he goes that route, but if I was his dad/mom, he would have some serious life changes to make. And the people he associated with would be one of the first places I'd start.

All this can be a distant memory in a few months if he can just get things straight right now.

One day you will have a choice between a job and weed. I hope you take the job vs the weed.

He had to know they were going to test for this. Even people who smoke weed and are tested at work are smart enough to either:

A. Not smoke when you know you have a drug test.
B. Keep some synthetic or clean urine handy.

How would a NAIA school improve his stock? By this point he'd transfer somewhere that has some high aspirations in 2013 so he can reclaim the spotlight. How will a season in the NAIA help him at this point?

Nicholls State is an NCAA School.

TM7 and his parents have likely been dealing with this issue since he entered high school and maybe before. He needs a drug rehab program 1st and football 2nd. Sitting out a year maybe a better choice .

Who says he has a problem? I'm sure he isn't the only person smoking weed on the team.

One of the main definitions of addictions is when the drug use affects your life negatively. I'd say he has a problem. The drug(s) is/are more important to him than something he clearly loves (football). You don't think that is a problem? Yes, others smoke weed, but they haven't been kicked off the team, so obviously it is less of an issue for them.

If you give up millions of dollars for a drug, you have a problem.

I agree.. and I've never taken any drugs in my life. The stuff needs to just be legal. As long as alcohol is legal so should weed.

It takes THC's months to leave your system, good luck with that.
