Only good I see coming from this is if they require fans/staff/bench players to wear masks then all games should be at night due to the heat. I couldn't imagine trainers/coaches/players sitting in that sauna of a stadium in September wearing an N95 mask on the sidelines.

Why don't you learn the facts about Covid-19?
Why should people need to wear a mask for a virus that has a global fatality rate of 0.1%?
Why should people need to wear a mask for a virus in which up to 80% of people that get it, never have one symptom.
Why do people need to wear a mask for a virus that in most countries in the world, the 0.1% that do die from it, the average age of death is 80, and 96% of them have multiple health issues?
Did you feel this passionate about wearing masks last flu season? The flu season before that?

This is probably the most reasoned response I've read. If masks are required to attend the game and people chose to not attend because of that new requirement, then they should be refunded all of their money for their tickets including any money required by the TAF to purchase those tickets.
As for the people saying they wouldn't wear a mask, the alternative could always be no fans allowed to attend. They could ask people to wear masks for the first game and after seeing how many people refused, they could simply restrict everyone from attending. They could even close the campus on gameday to prevent people from tailgating.

I think you're forgetting one thing: this was supposed to be the year all SEC events were supposed to go full-on metal detector. So we're gonna have that IN ADDITION TO temp checks.

We are now onto the next phase of the plan Demic which is that everything starts to "re-open "under regulations that are completely unreasonable and make it impossible to stay in business so they'll shut down which is the point. This includes the anti-human wearing of masks 6 feet distance etc.

There is still no accepted scientific number on this because the data changes too rapidly. However, the numbers suggest for people under 70, the infected fatality rate (people who get the virus and die) might actually be half of that, or around 0.05%. So almost certainly someone who is of working age is more likely die from anything than COVID 19.

Because the infected fatality rate for people over 70 could be as high as 47%. Do you think we have the right to kill off half a generation because you don’t like the way a mask looks?

I got a flu shot for both - which greatly decreases the risk of serious infection.
The logic of wearing a mask is the same as wearing a condom to protect from STDs - you keep your bodily fluids locked in and other peoples out. Obviously, particles are hard to track when you can’t see them but the more people wearing masks in a crowd, the lower the chances of infection.
Your desire not to wear a mask is not based on science or facts. You may not be afraid of catching the virus, but your refusal to wear the mask is a good indicator that you are also refusing to quarantine. And you don’t have the right to spread an infection to others.
Stop being a pussy and wear your damn mask or stay home and be as free as you’d like.
