It's not crazy for people to believe this team will be bad.

Marcus isn't looking if he doesn't see positives on the defensive side of the ball. He isn't being fair if he doesn't at least acknowledge that there is some potential on the offensive side.
It's not crazy to think this could be 5 loss season based on the schedule but it is crazy to think the team will be "bad". When I think bad, I think Dinardo in 98 and 99. This is not 98 or 99. 2002, 2008, 2014 were not good, and could have been worse but they weren't bad.

there are lots of reasons that this team may embarrass those predicting 5-7 wins.

Then you should have written your dear John letter at that point.

Marcus gives his opinion. which is his job. Just because you disagree, doesn't mean that he is wrong or he is somehow being anti-lsu. He loves LSU.

Also, who cares?

His opinion doesn't affect LSU or your life. Get over it.

It is sad that so many fans are really rooting for failure so that O can be gone.
Reminds me of another group of people . . .

I think I’ve seen two whole people express this sentiment. You people are so dramatic.

Wow you people are fricking pathetic. Shitting on a Tiger great for perceived slights against your god-emporor Orgeron.

These same da’s will lose their collective shite if Herbie ever says anything good about Ohio st. Or Brady Quinn on Notre Dame etc

For most of us, yes. For people like you, it's more about Orgeron than LSU. That's why you're willing to shite on a former LSU All-American and national title game hero for expressing an honest opinion about how he believes this season will unfold. It's pathetic. Again, practice what you preach.

Why can't he just be giving his honest opinion?

He doesn't have an obligation to project some level of optimism if he doesn't feel it inside.

Either one of these scenarios and LSU is done for at least 10 years. 7-5 and this recruiting class falls completely apart. 8-4 most of the highest rated players in this class will be gone.. this is a very critical recruiting class.

I love these ceilings when you haven't even seen the team play. Lmao

But you say we have improved at almost every position. There is no reason for us not to win more games than last year then. Anything less is a failure on the coaching staff.
