First off, I’m excited about the BK move. The more it sinks in, the more it makes sense.
Not sure if this has already been discussed by others, but is it possible SW is setting this coaching succession up for BK to come in, rebuild LSU back to elite status. Marcus Freeman to follow BK here and be the HC in waiting?
Thoughts?
Disclosure: I posted about disdain for MF bc of how the DC search went but secretly I think he’d be great. Not sure of HC abilities though.

He’s not going to come be HC in waiting here when he’s getting the Notre Dame job

Never mind. Just did a quick search and all ND news is talking about hiring MF as BK replacement is the only choice. So no chance at my theory….damn

BK hasn’t even coached a game yet. He hasn’t even been named the head coach yet and you’re already thinking about his successor. This site is unbelievable.

Probability, possibility, and who the hell knows!
1. Freeman named ND interim HC and made permanent HC. Most likely.
2. Fickell to ND, and Freeman to Cincinnati HC. Likely.
3. If none of the above LSU DC. Not likely however.

I expect Luke Fickell to get the job at Notre Dame and Cincinnati to hire Freeman to replace Fickell.
