You don't think him being a freshman had anything to do with it? If no, how about guys named Phillips and Queen?

Terrible terrible take.

Not to my knowledge, but given his use/reps, he might as well had been

Look man, I don’t have a better answer

He rushed the passer, and looked great doing it

Guys with his ability don’t usually see such limited action, esp when we were lacking SS/LB depth so often

What’s ur take?

That he was a freshman, and freshman making huge impacts consistently is the exception, not the norm. Instead, they usually show flashes of great things to come (which he did).

Also, he was behind other talented players.

He was also a tweener which makes him more of a specialist than an every down player at such a young age.

Transferred, as in already left.I hope that you find happiness and success playing the position that you want to play. LSU has an embarrassment of riches at both positions but I wish that it could have worked out.

I don’t feel like getting into bashing.

We had LBs and S’s playing because we needed bodies out there, even in some big games

I would guess there’s some combination of missed assignments, not being a team player, or just inability to cover

I could be dead wrong. If so, my apologies

I love when people “guess” with no basis in fact for any part of it to even consider it an educated guess. What led you to these 3 guesses? Rather than “I would guess” you should just say, “I would recklessly speculate (throws dart blind folded)”

Take it for what it’s worth but I have a buddy with a Son that plays for Marcus High. He told me Brooks likes the Weed! I can’t help but wonder if this is a reaction to possible pending suspension?

Because this move is VERY ODD

“Personal” reasons almost conclusively means go ahead and guess.

I decided to take the high road. LOL

Vanilla Ice,
Looks like Brooks is gone. You taking it as a personal failure?

Almost conclusively means what? I’m clearly not as good of a guesser as you because I can think of tons of “personal” reasons someone might move closer to home.

And I don’t know how the move being VERY ODD has anything to do with how you conjured up your random baseless guesses.

You can bet my guesses are fairly benign compared to actuality.

I am sorry if this is “personal” to you.

This is a message board full of speculation. I don’t really have to know the “truth”, but there would be no need to leave any doubts, if it were a clear case of homesickness.

He has his reason/s. Sad to see him go. He played his role well last year.
