If 8 or 9 wins is mediocrity then Miles is the poster child of what you accuse Ed O of.
Jesus jumped up and down.

In Miles 11 full season at LSU, he had one 13 win season, one 12 win season, three 11 win season, two 10 win seasons, two 9 win seasons and two 8 win seasons. And let's not forgot that one of those 9 win seasons had a cancelled game against McNeese. So his record could have easily had three 10 wins seasons and only one 9 win seasons.
So to recap, Miles had 7 double digit win seasons out of 11 full seasons at LSU.
For the life of me I don't understand why some folks get on here and voice their opinions, like you did, and try to pass them off as facts.

God Damn. Why don't some of you knuckleheads look shite up before spouting off.

When Miles was fired, LSU had somewhere around 5 or 6 kickers on the roster, and 13 or 14 linebackers on the roster. Look it up mhc. Do yourself a favor and get the damn facts instead of just posting bullshite that you've seen someone else on the rant toss out there.

Only think you left out is that we need a more loyal fan base.

And do you recall what happened the following week? LSU lost, in no small part because of being penalized 9 times vs state.
They came into the game with 21 penalties. If you had only looked at the final score of BYU and Chattanooga (sounds like you did) then you would have been caught off guard by this awful performance. But the signs were there, to those who paid attention.

So you're saying that penaties cost us the game? That our offense only scored 7 points because of 21 penalties that we committed two games before? Or that the defense gave up 37 points because of 21 penalties? Get out of here. Maybe if it was a closer game but we got blown out because the team sucked that night. Not because of penalties.
Nothing in that whole response had anything to do with how well the offense or defense did against two cupcakes. Based on those games did you think our offense or even the defense for that matter would put that kind of performance on the field? No. But you're going to sit here and talk about the penalties
again you're trying too hard.

well lets see,
LSU had a TD taken away 3 minutes into the game because of an offensive pass interference. I'm sure having a 7-0 lead taken away minutes into the game didn't affect how the team played.
LSU had 2 15 yard penalties in the first half to extend miss state drives. I am sure the defense being on the field longer than it needed to be didn't affect how the team played.
Want me to keep going??
LOLJK IDGAF what your answer is. I am going to keep going just to show you just how fricking stupid you are.
First drive of the second half, LSU gets called for a roughing the passer, Miss st stays on the field, gets a field goal. Thats now 6 points as a result of penalties, 13 if you count the OPI. What could have been a 14 - 14 game is instead 20-7?
on the VERY NEXT DRIVE, another 15 yard penalty by LSU. I am sure all these 15 yard penalties are in no way affecting the game. Oh wait, Miss st scored on this drive as well. 27-7 , clanga.

Other then the first two drives and the touchdown drive for LSU (6 plays for the first and 7 for the second) the offense didn't run more then 5 plays a drive until the 4th quarter when the game was already over. Both of which ended on a turnover on downs. So yeah I think it was more so the offense being crappy more so then the penalties. Did it have an effect on the game? Sure but not as much as you make it seem.

I like how you don’t even acknowledge that LSU had a 7-0 lead effectively wiped away 3 minutes into the game and act like the team wasn’t affected by that.
Posted on 9/13/18 at 7:55 pm to Dave England
Sure it affected them. Doesn't mean that it's acceptable for them to put up only 7 points. But it's ok that one penalty kept LSU's offense in check all night long.

LUatic I can answer that Miles is a rare genius at recruiting and he did what he did despite the negatigers , you saw all the ballahood coaches turn their back to LSU they didnt want no part of the negatigers and their drag on recruiting ! !

Simply make the board boring by becoming a positive force on the board ,maybe we can keep a couple of our Louisiana boys off the bama bench and a couple more wins every season !
