Maybe not but Pickett has a chance to be regarded in that group since he committed to LSU from the start.
And also in Delanes defense, I know Sting committed to LSU but we really only got one good year out of him as well. Granted it was a historic year for him, especially being a freshman but still really only one year.

100%. Incredibly happy for him but can't put him alongside those that did it for 3-4 years at LSU
Also, I know I'm on the minority here but was Stingley really that great? Never thought he was near Webster, Pat, TM7, Claiborne, Tre White, Delpit and others

Maybe but there are 2 issues that keep him from being thought of in the same light as those guys. And it is not a knock against him, he is GREAT, but it is reality.
1. He is a transfer and only played 1 year
2. The other guys played on truly great LSU teams. PP is the only one on that list that did not play in a national title game.
Fair or not, thats why those guys will more likely be remembered more than Delane.
