Man, the leaders on offense/defense sure looked like they had good command of everything

Was very refreshing to see. I think the first penalty we received was a delay of game penalty in the third quarter and that was just to try and give us more room.
Leaders made adjustments, communicated well, and the offense despite the complicated sets lines up without issue

Something I had to get used to was seeing highly recruited guys like Berry and Caden take a back seat to actual football players

We know they are both solid ball players so it makes me wonder if that’s due to less knowledge of the formations, offense and didn’t get it quite as much as the others.

This! Gage and Jones are the 2 most physical backs on the team. That’s why they received the most reps

I especially liked the recognition of how well Weeks and Benefield worked together.
Two major alpha-dogs that could have spent energy posturing and dick-measuring; instead, they worked together on communication and making the overall defense as good as it could be.
