Hey Deuce, he tried and it didn't work out...he tried to get Muschamp...now too many sound like the catastrophe syndrome is taking over...are you the same guys who insisted that Les cut RP? Anyone with any idea about football knew this was going to be a tough year...we just have to gut it out & know that we'll be much better next year and maybe some of our big Jrs. will stick around because they're disappointed with the year...we'll still go to a good bowl and maybe be a spoiler for the Gumps...it ain't over yet.

Missing gaps, missed tackles, blown coverages. All inconsistent player mistakes. Yes, you can blame it on the players. But the defensive coaches are just as much at fault. That is called discipline and LSU lacks it this year. Its so evident since Bo left. At least he'd keep this defense somewhat disciplined and keep us in games, even in the bad ones. Its pretty apparent the defensive coordinators are doing something wrong and if Miles doesn't see that, then he doesn't deserve to be our coach. Hes not going to drive this program back into obscurity(which I'm sure he recognizes but won't say publicly).

I don't remember what qtr this was, but the only time I can think of a player busting coverage and not playing within the scheme, was going from left to right on tv.

LB is covering a RB in the flat....Curtis Taylor is playing deep. UGA....acts like they are going to throw to the RB in the flat, because they did it all game long....for some inexplicable reason, Curtis Taylor runs to help double cover the RB, and AJ Green is left wide open at the bottom of the screen for a huge gain.

Aside from that...I think the scheme sucks arse hole.

I definitely agree with you geauxgirl. I had realistic expectations this year but its apparent we need new DCs, I'm sure Les know this. Its not working, fine. They've got to go though. Every program has a down year and fortunately for us, a 3-4 loss season is a major "down" year. Florida had it last year, Georgia had a "down" year when Stafford was a Freshman. We're just spoiled.

But Miles has no right to keep these guys at DC right now. You can blame it on the players all you want but when little things are happening on the sideline, like, communication problems or discipline problems in the scheme, that goes on the coaches. It just is awfully funny we're having all these discipline problems when Bo left don't you think? When Bo first came in, I seem to remember him having a young secondary and being able to sort them out after the first few games...

I wasn't aware that we were only allowed to go after muschamp and when we failed to get him it meant we had to have co dc's. I hope whoever is our first choice next year doesn't turn us down again so we get stuck with a co dc's again

Peveo ino longer coaches special teams at LSU. What College or High School do you attend? You seem to know nothing about LSU or Peveto except "He sucks".

I love fans. It's okay to throw 18-23 year old players under the bus, but don't ever question the coaching or schemes.

Team.......Against LSU..Against SEC...Season avg.
North Texas......3............NA.............16.9
Auburn............21..........14.6............18.8
Miss St...........24..........11.5............16.5
Florida.............51..........42.4.............42
South Carolina...17..........19.2............22.4
Georgia............52..........29.2............34.3

The numbers speak for themselves, North Texas and South Carolina are the only 2 teams to score below their season or SEC season average when playing against us.

Pveto is a great recruiter and a pretty good LB coach I'd say. Like I said, I'd like to see these guy back as position coaches because I think they are strong there and recruiting but defensive coordinator is waaaaaaaaaaay over their heads...

If Miles said that.....

He either has to be blowing out smoke,
or blowing in smoke.

"People shall rise to the level of their incompetency at which level they will tend to stay."
I think our D coordinators rose faster than deserved.......
now, let's see if ego will allow them to return to their roots.

did i say that peveto coaches special teams this year frick tard?

I asked what he did good besides recruit.

I pointed out that he has been incharge of our special teams and fricked it up. I know more about LSU than you.

so you think peveto and mallory aren't a problem? so that means you think its the players right?
