Why is Johnson starting Noot over Evans? And then going to Shores in the 3rd who gives up a base clearing triple. Some of his decisions he makes are beyond stupid

Did you watch the last month or month and a half of the season?

If you had, then you probably wouldn't be asking this question. It wasn't a bad call to pitch those 2. They just didn't perform like they have recently.

Yea, like when Evans started Sunday games? Evans developed into a very quality 3rd starter and then Jay decided (poorly), it was more important that he be a utility knife. So here we are, in a winner take all vs a 4-seed that is en fuego and we are pissing down our pants

Well I’ve been watching the whole season and I’d much rather Evans/Cowan over Noot/Shores. Noot is average and Shores walks a lot and gets touched at the worst times

I like Evans and I'm not opposed to him starting yesterday, but he has struggled his last 2 outings. On the flip side, Noot and Shores have been pitching really well their last few outings.

Shores has prob been the best relief pitcher the last 3 weeks going into yesterday. Not sure how anyone can blame him for going that direction in a close game

We still only scored 4 runs and 3 were off a flyball lost in the lights.

They walked Curiel to get to Jones and struck him out on 3 pitches with a guy who had an 8 ERA and a .300 BA against.

That’s embarrassing and Jones has got to do better, he’s a liability at this point
