Find me ONE person who thinks this was a big deal. It happens ALL THE TIME in baseball. You people find the dumbest shite to gripe about. OH THOSE KNOWLEDGABLE AND CLASSY LSU BASEBALL FANS

Get over yourselves already. Nobody is saying anything classless. You just don't agree with it. go start a "We're smarty and classier than other LSU fans" message board if you don't like it.

How many ways are you going to post the exact same thing? You're really on a roll.

I think it was giving up 4 runs in the bottom of the 9th that hurt.

No, he's right.

Going 16 straight innings without scoring a run is at least as meaningful.

PM looked confused on tv. Like a mad fan rather than a coach trying to get something going.

I would look confused too if my best relief pitcher decided to have his worst game of the season in his biggest appearance.

It's the coaches fault when we lose, yet its the players that win it. A little contradictory...

You are kidding right? You are bitching about the coach letting the runner go to 2nd base uncontested with a 3-run lead in the 9th??? Tell me how that lost the game. I want to know. The positives of not holding that runner on far outweigh the negatives. It isn't even close. Who cares that the runner got to 2nd? Yeah, he scored on the next hit...to make it 3-1.
Last I checked the 1st run counts as much as the 4th run. My point is if you are going to give him 2nd base uncontested why not at least try to pick him off. Heck I would rather balk him to 2nd.

You do realize there are advantages to having a force out at 2nd, right? Now I could possibly see letting them have 2 uncontested with 2 outs or maybe even 1, but wasn't that the lead off hitter?

It will be so much fun watching UL hold the flag for the state when the NCAA tournament comes around.

Don't worry we will bring the flag back to you after we are finished.

Hey Josh, why would you call for the same pitch three times in a row when he missed it twice before? Would your old coaches have told you to do something three times with the game on the line when you proved twice you didn't have it that day? Or would he have come out to tell you to do something different?

Hey, ask any coach. Players win games. Coaches lose them. The coach is supposed to put the player into a position where he can succeed.

threw 115 pitches, do you understand that?a freshmen pitcher

Retired here in NW AR and saw the game Sat. night. Trying to understand this "current day" hang-up with 19 yr. old pitchers having to pitch 115 pitches! My god, has sports science proved this? Can noone pitch a complete game any longer? What???

I am just as disgusted as all of you. I see the same issues as last year, but hindset is always 20/20. It is easy to say that he should't have pulled Gausman, but how many of you didn't have confidence in Berry closing the game? How many of us didn't have confidence in Ott closing Florida out in the Friday game? I know he got roughed up in the CSF game late the week before, but he got the save.

I am going to say like I did with TJ after calming down, they are the coaches and we have to hope that they know what they are doing. PM won in 09 with most of his players, so if he did it then he should be able to do it again. I know the game has changed with the bats and pitch clock, but I find it hard to believe we can't make the necessary changes to get this thing in the right direction. I chalk it up to bad luck and making too many mistakes. Outside of Mahtook, we should have all of the position players back, except for maybe Watkins. With Gausman and McCune only getting better, I still think we are a year away.
